HU Multi-Cultural Center
Uljin-gun, Korea
The HU Multi-Cultural Center features a complex free-form steel structure where installation led to on-site discrepancies due to challenging field conditions.
To capture the built conditions with millimeter-level accuracy, LJK Tech combined high-resolution laser scanning with total station–based control surveying. Using precisely established survey control points, we aligned and corrected the point cloud data to build an accurate reverse-engineered 3D model of the curved steel frame.
Each structural member—curved and custom-fabricated—was digitally reconstructed to serve as a verified reference for subsequent finishing design and fabrication.
This project highlights LJK Tech's expertise in precision scanning, spatial correction, and complex geometry modeling.
